Workflow
Create a new report using File > New, or open an existing report file (.penareports) using File > Open.
First, add a report row element by clicking the first button in the side panel while the “Report Tree” is active.
Add new elements from the Tools section in the side panel.
Move elements such as labels, images, barcodes, QR codes, etc. using left click.
Remove elements using the context menu (right-click) or the Remove button in the Report Tree panel.
Change the selected element’s style from the property panel.
Add a database from the Database Configuration page of the report. Add an API from the API Configuration page of the report.
Create a data source from the Database Configuration page or the API Configuration page.
Bind a data source to a selected element such as a report row, table, or report column.
Drag data fields from the data source and drop them to bind elements such as report cells or table cells.
Preview the report using the green Play icon in the shortcut bar.
Save your report file using File > Save as a .penareports file.
Export the created report using File > Export as PDF or File > Export as Spreadsheet.
